Full Moon Ritual

Materials Needed:

  • Candle (white or silver)

  • Matches or lighter

  • Crystals (quartz, moonstone, or amethyst)

  • Bowl of water

  • Favorite family photos

  • Pen and paper

  • Outdoor space or window with a view of the moon

Steps:

  1. Set Up: Gather your materials and find a quiet space outdoors or by a window where you can see the moon.

  2. Cleanse: Clear the space by lighting the candle and passing the crystals through the flame. Place the crystals nearby.

  3. Connect with Water: Sit around the bowl of water and place your hands in it. Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths. Imagine the energy of the full moon flowing into the water.

  4. Reflection: Look at the family photos and think about your favorite memories together. Write down any thoughts or intentions you have for your family on the paper.

  5. Moon Gazing: Go outside or sit by the window where you can see the full moon. Spend a few moments silently gazing at the moon's gentle glow, feeling its energy.

  6. Release: Take turns sharing what you wrote on the paper, expressing gratitude for your family and releasing any negative feelings or tensions.

  7. Closing: Blow out the candle, thank the moon for its presence, and close the ritual with a family hug or any other gesture that feels right.

  8. Aftercare: Place the bowl of water outside under the moonlight or on a windowsill overnight to absorb the moon's energy. You can also keep the crystals with you as a reminder of the ritual.
